Norwegian Crafts Institute

The Norwegian Crafts Institute aims to document, preserve and
promote skills in traditional crafts as knowledge, culture and trade
in line with UNESCO’s Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible
Cultural Heritage.

The Crafts Institute was established in 1987 on behalf of the
Norwegian Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs and the Ministry
of Education.
